  • Description: After being raped by Liapouras, the self-proclaimed boss of the area, Chrysa kills him, and her brother Tasos takes responsibility. Six years later, he is released from prison and returns to the foothills of Mt. Parnassos, having vowed never to hold a weapon in his hands. However, the dead man’s brothers, with Vagias in the lead, seek their revenge. Tasos does not hide his attraction for Liapouras’ widow, Despo, while Chrysa has attracted the attention of Stamos (Vagias’ cousin) – provoking Vagias’ fury. When Vagias drowns in a nearby swamp while attempting to burn down Tasos’ home, the vicious cycle of deadly events finally comes to an end.
